Waiting till it gets cheaper, enjoyed the demo, don't think it's worth £20 though. Got a pile of PS3 games to get through at the moment too.

I'll be waiting for a while as well. Besides, I've krauts to kill.

I'm sad i bought farcry 2 yesterday because it was £10 cheaper in Game than Left 4 Dead. I now know why it was 10 quid cheaper.......

I would like to get the game but have concerns about its repetitiveness which makes me wonder if its worth £26. I also have concerns that I wouldnt play it that often as what with you lot engrossed in RVR and the WoW fanatics WotLK'ing I dont think that people would play it enough to make it worth me spending the cash as I have very limited playing time now and, around clan matches it would be hard for me to actually find a time with you guys when we can all sit and abuse each other.

If you can convince me otherwise then Ill happily buy it though as Ive wanted it since they announced its development

it's repetetive, the "scoring" system is slightly flawed (in that you don't earn your score, you only work towards keeping it (ie, your health))... that's pretty much what can be said about it.

The maps look the same each time, but the zombies aren't at the same place - alleviates the repetetiveness sommat, but not enough imo.

I got it, it's awesome. It's not repetetive simply cos if you stick 8 people together you never know what they're going to do, so much fun!

If there are enough of us interested I thought it might be a good idea to get the 4 copy package of left 4 dead direct from steam. Id be up for doing it and can either send money to whoever pays or can pay for it myself and people give me the cash.

On steam it works out at £20 each for 4 of us to get the game which makes it a fairly decent saving tbh.

The £20 offer was only for like the first week of the January sale, its not back up to the normal price of £26.99

Like I said to you mace, it has it's flaws (mainly bugs) thus far I think it's been worth the money.
Especially playing it with friends makes it a lot of fun.

You also talk about it being possibly too repetetive, but I think CSS is worse in that aspect yet you still play it
