I got this, which looks like a blatant attempt a chain mail, but thought I'd share anyway. This also absolves me of the hassle of having to think of 10 people to forward it on to.

But the flipside of the coin is that you have to sit in jail with a truncheon (sorry.. nightstick) up your rectum, for three days, until they decide how to punish you for travelling over 55. Actually I'm probably exaggerating... maybe more like 2 days.

Regular roads are 55 Sift but interstates aka motorways are 70 and with no speed cameras, atleast around here I've found people drive much faster than in the UK

lots of the motorway petrol places are already £1 a litre or as near as damn it.

I saw a lot who had the price as 99.99p, because their big sign didnt have enough spaces before the decimal to put 100.00p!!

Simple things please simple minds!

So the fuel is cheaper, they don't have speed cameras and the speed limit is the same? Where do I order a visa?

It all bollocks anyway mate, I have been following that gimp that was on Top Gear who said he had negotiated a contract with a unamed top fuel company to provide fuel at 5p a litre cheaper when showing a valid card. All you had to do was sign up and get the card and bang that was it. 2 years later nothing has come of it and I have started to receive emails with great deals on gps and other gadgets even though he told everyone at the start it was not going to happen.

Its all shit, the simple fact is it costs alot of money to farm this stuff so they can charge what they like because everyone needs it and not many people have the technology to get it.

Well lets not get started on the break down of where the money per ltr of fuel goes to shall we.

Pretty much everywhere ive been in the world the cost of fuel is cheaper than the UK. Also look at the trend on the cost of diesel, before diesel cars became a trendy viable option its cost was significantly lower than that of petrol. However now it is pretty much the same cost.

I also have to fill the car up every few days due to the place being so spread out so although the fuel is cheaper we have to use a shitload more to go anywhere or get anything done. Even the local shop is a 20 minute drive :?
