I found a kewl avatar thats a gif, but its 307 KB in size, which is too big (244 is current max)

Anyone know a program that I can use to shrink it a bit? or can avatars be made bigger size allotment?

just use Abobe Photoshop or something similar to shrink the individual frames or cut some out.

Could try and host it on your own webspace and link it from there?
