Had a tip passed to me tonight by a fellow DE and vehicle salesman on what could be considered an 'exploit'.

In the capital building is a Twi'lek called Irenez (think she has the skillz matez), who will give you 3 missions then pass you onto Garm in the office behind her. He will then give you 5 missions, and on the 6th you will have to take out 2 dark troopers. I got there, was about to kill my first ever DT and the server went down :/

When you finish each mission, you have to return to Garm for your reward. This leaves you free to whack the DT's for holocrons (drop rate is sposed to be shite atm), then abort the mission, allowing you to retake it over and over again. You therefore have an unlimited supply of DT's to farm holocrons.

Its worth a shot from all of us cos the drop rate is so low its gonna take a lot of attempts to get one. If we group it. I would like first dibs for bringing you this great information (and also cos i rifle it and will never get to loot them before anyone else )

I'll go just to see if I can kill a DT. Got a total thumping by some of Nym's fellas last night and later on an Imperial medic took out my entire mind in 1 hit, though the daft git didn't DB and regreted it soon after:D

I started on the first mission yesterday and someone killed the person I was sposed to speak to so I went after sharnaffs to get CH XP. Alas not enough of the stuff as my Rancor is now too sexy for me to use.

I literally can't do this mission. Everytime I get close to the person I'm meant to speak to they all attack me and I kill them as soon as they hit even though I'm trying not to attack anyone. I've killed a few Dark Troopers recently though and found nothing, though I've never killed the commander that's always around as the troopers always put up a bloody good fight so suspect the commander could have me.

If you kill the commander, the mission is over and you can't retake it.

To talk to an NPC without aggro, get within 70m of them then type:

/conversationStart

This will literally complete the mission without having to go anywhere near aggro. It works a treat.
