Hi folks

I think we need to have a chat about what we want out of the game. Are we going to look at supplying our own needs or buying in?

If we are going to supply our own needs then we need to grind some missions to get some cash - Lump all the cash together and then buy communal resources, set up a base somewhere and concentrate on producing what we need. Selling anything left over to bring more money in.

This is going to necessitate a few nights of cash farming/ mission hunting. Not geat xp and sometimes slow unless we organise ourselves.

The alternative is to all buy our own things as we need them but I think that we'll soon find that becoming unteneble as we produce higher and higher quality products.

Let me know what you think guys
Simon

I'm seriously considering becoming a droid engineer as combat is starting to become a little repetitive. I'm gonna have a look at the hybrid possibilites tonight cos I definitely want to stay in combat for the PvP side of the game. The ony thing keeping me on the BH route is big guns and the ability to hunt Jedi, but there aren't many Jedi around so I may be wasting my time.

But I defo think we should start making our own stuff, not only for financial benefits, but to make us stand out as a PA when we get it sorted . Thats if business can be done at PA level and not just at player level, as I've only seen player specific trading so far and not PA trading. If I do droid engi, then I'll get mass droid production on the go.

BTW, how much does a PA hall cost? And where are we eligible to place it?

PA halls are about 550-600k and need to be placed by someone who has 7-9 spare lots. you can place them anywhereIf we're really serious about it, we could chip in £1 each month and get another account which we could use as a dedicated politician, architect, etc. I might be able to get hold of another acc for free, i'll look into it. I might be able to get it on expenses, and then pay for my normal account as i'm doing at the minute.

I'd suggest you all have something that you can do other than combat, as it can get rather boring as the xp needed increases ten-fold towards the higher levels.

The more we get sorted before we get a pa hall, the easier we'll find it when we do place it.

PA trading is good, especially when you have 1 of each profession, once we're all sorted as to what direction we want to take our charcters, it might be worth recruiting a dedicated architect, or basically, commisioning them to build for us if we supply ore, paying them for their time. The guy i got that factory off would be a good start to get harvestors from.

I might grind up domestic arts so i can make very nice harvestors for us all before i drop my artisan skills.

droid engi has been severely fucked since launch, as there's no return sales once someone has bought a droid. Keep an eye on the news though as it's getting a major overhaul in January, especially with the CH changes, the market for the new combat droids should get alot bigger.

As for the BH thing, i'd prefer a decent combat char who stands a chance of getting holocrons to become a jedi rather than hunting them. :)

From what I have seen, master bounty hunter is very very hard to get and not really that good once u get it.

Personally, I am glad I decided on Doctor / pistollier

I can shoot stuff in combat and I can heal ppl / craft medicines.

You could easily master armoursmith or artisan/ architect and still go master rifleman as well
