Now I’m not normally a thick shit when it comes to WoW, but I’ve recently become confused literally two minutes ago…

We have a 5 piece armour set with 2+4 bit bonuses which drops in dungeons.

We have the choice of 2 sets, well warriors do (dps and def) to buy from the blokes in Shattrath with epic drops from heroic modes. I presume.

Which is T4/T5??

What is the blue 5-piece set classed as?

Why am I even bothered about this?

If blue set != T4, and epic purchasables=T4, where is T5? Raids?!?

I'm assuming the blues are T4 just like they used to be T0 and the epix T5. I've not really looked into it much yet. I'm more interested in looting some good boots as none of the sets seem to come with them anymore.

i could be wrong, but the way ive been looking at it, is that the blue sets that drop are like T0, wildheart, shadowcraft etc. T4 is like the T1, T5 like the T2, and T6 like the T3

After extensive research, the blue 5-piece is not a tier at all.

T4 is obtained through the ‘of the fallen’ drops.

T5 is obtained through the ‘of the vanquished’ drops

From what I've gathered on my endless WoWWiki-ing while I wait for my new PC, that looks like BC-Equivalent Tier 0, that is, relatively-easily-obtainable blue sets for lvl70.

Tier 5 tokens haven't been found yet as not many people have gotten to high-end raids like Vashj, Kael'thas, Battle of Hyjal or Illidan, but let's worry about T4 first shall we!

I don't even have the blues for 70 yet, T4 is a long way off.

let your brain rest Inv m8... we did barely reach T1, had a glimpse at T2, dreamt of T3........do you really think we will be able to get our hands on T4 and T5 ???

The reason we never got T3 was because we started so late on. T4 and T5 will be attainable I reckon, especially as it's 25 man content, it'll just be like ZG was at the beginning. Though tbh I'm quite happy with 5 man stuff atm.

Doesnt some of the drops we need for T4 come from heroic 5 man stuff ?

well, just my 2 cents... I will most happily loose that bet

In all fairness Des with the reduced numbers needed for high end raids now it should be easy to fill a 25 man run. We had no reall issues filling ZG or AQ towards the run up TBC it was only the 40 stuff we struggled to fill.

Therefore based on that we should actually stand a very good chance of obtaining T4 and even T5 gear this time round ..

Sitting gets you nowhere! Grind and level! Grind and level! (Level rep, mats, dungeon practice for heroic if you're 70)
