Seems to be a major issue atm, far as I can tell. Bloody frustrating too.

Aye was in Strat and doing rather well on the rolls ^^ Then the game froze and now the server is down =(

See my post above. There are some rumours floating about regarding certain ip addresses being blocked or something. I didn't read about that too much but turning my cable modem on and off (to get a different ip address) worked for me. You might have to do it a couple of times, depending on whether you are assigned another problem ip address or not (if that even is the problem).
