Thought it was some kid on drugs because I read the title as:
"Mom, Dad I'm a tree"

I've never slept in a tree, have in a bush and a ditch..
I prefer a bed though.

I once slept in the kennel with our two dogs having "lost" my keys while on an all day bender and being reluctant to wake my parents up having performed a similar trick the day before.

Was very nice and comfortable and I even used one of the dogs as a draught excluder with the other one as a pillow, as a bonus the key fairy replaced my keys in my pockets in the morning and I was able to let myself in the house ready for breakfast.
