Another bloody holiday? If I knew the likes of Ravin would be looking after my place of work whilst I was away I'd never take a holiday at all. Have fun and try not to think about what damage he can do in your absence.

Portugal is lovely. Friendly people - great fish restaurants and lovely sea/beaches/weather/food.

I may invade again and ginigify the place

I stayed in Ferragudo (I think the spelling is right) just over the water from Porto Mao.

We were in a holiday apartment (marble everywhere with a personal swimming pool) which we rented at a very good price from some people who run it as a holiday home/ let.

Not sure what region it was in but it's about an hour from Faro so it's not too deep into the country.

It's a nice place, quiet with lots of little cafes and a few bars. As I went with the family we wanted somewhere that had the beach and a pool for the kids and somewhere we could get a nice drink and a light bite during the day - this was perfect. Quiet (when we weren't there with our tribe of nephews) peaceful, relaxing holiday tbh.

1 hour from Faro then you stayed at Algarve or Alentejo, kinda far from were i live, near the capital, Lisboa.
tbh dont go to that zone in quite some years but remmeber that is very nice

Spain was fecking cold and rainy. Had to wear bloody sweaters in Spain
when people were wearing summerwear in Holland.
I come back and see the weather is changing. Just my luck /o\
