Thinking of moving from NTL cable to everything Sky (except for phone, which is BT). Does anyone have any experience of Sky Broadband with regard to reliability and quality of support? In any case, it can't be worse than NTL's.
From what I can see, Sky use Easynet as their LLU provider. Doesn't look like I can get the MAX (16Mb) product in Bournemouth yet so I may have to take the 8Mb Sky connection. I'm currently on a, supposedly, (up to) 10Mb NTL connection but again I don't think I'll notice a difference:

1st 128K took 370 ms = 354249 Bytes/sec = approx 2947 kbits/sec
2nd 128K took 371 ms = 353294 Bytes/sec = approx 2939 kbits/sec
3rd 128K took 350 ms = 374491 Bytes/sec = approx 3116 kbits/sec
4th 128K took 351 ms = 373425 Bytes/sec = approx 3107 kbits/sec
Looks more like 3Mb to me
