One of the guys at work showed me it yesterday....it's absolutely hilarious. Apparently, when they feel threatened and scared, their legs lock up and they fall over...hence their name.,..looks like they're fainting....

Here u go gyng......some info on prices  :D :) :o

Q: How can I find fainting goats to purchase?

A: Contact your state's Cooperative Extension office, usually run out of a major university (typically the leading agricultural university in the state; here in Michigan, it's Michigan State University). They are likely to have breeder lists and other useful information.

Q: How much do they cost?

A: Price varies greatly and depends on many things, including age, gender, area of country, etc. Typically, you can expect to pay anywhere between $300 and $600 for a fainter.

Cheers hon.
$300-$600 is a bit steep when you consider that I can pop round the corner and find whole mountainsides full of sheep for nowt.

Yeah but surely there's no challenge with these Gynggr? It'd be like shooting fish in a barrel for you. Still the temporary stiffening of the back legs should make it easier to get them in your wellies. ;)
