My brother got some Coke and Mentos for my dad for fathers day....

Needless to say my dad (along with my mums precious garden...Thank god she was away!!) ended up covered in coke, as yes it works a treat....lol :shock:

They videod a bit on the phone, i'll try and get it to put on here, its rather amusing!

Although now as you've guessed they want to take it up a level and are trying to figure out ways of getting the lid on quick after putting in the Mentos, although they do think the bottle will explode...lol :roll:

Aye there must be soemthing special about them to make them fizz so much. There's some funny ideas of what flavouts mints should be though.

Apparently its just the reaction of the sugar in the coke....Apparently you get the same effect adding a load of sugar to the bottle instead (alothough not tried it!)
I think the mints are just easier and quicker to drop in

Suger makes the fizz fanish, my parents used to ruin drinks for us like that. (and oc I intend to do so for our lill one later

) I doubt you'll get such a huge burst from a table spoon of sugar, a lumb might do the trick.

i prefer putting Skittles in mine....in Full Fatting Coke that is....non of this diet shit...

but then again...nothing is better then consuming 16 pints of coke and then trying to keep still afterwards :shock:
