I am starting to come to terms with it but it was a gut wrencher. I

ts such a damn fine show and the movie aswell , The actors are all so perfect for it. Damn Fox TV and there still raking it in because of the series still selling stupidely well. Why cant they see it deserves to be finished.

My wife is looking to go shopping down London in September with her family I am trying to get permission to go to the Convention that is on then.

I have bought numerous copies of the dvds to pass around and spread the word I have t-shirts and hats and soundtracks. Its all wrong :p

I just hope someone with some intelligence at a TV station can see just how big this thing is and sort it out.

That's good to know tbh as I've just bought Firefly series 1 for £11 but havne't got round to watching a single episode yet.

I didnt like Angel or Buffy

I'm not really a fan of Angel. Even less so Buffy but I really enjoyed Firefly (after the geek above convinced me to buy it). I preferred the series to the movie but would still recommend the film. The series appears a little low budget at first but the humour and the rapport, that you build with the characters, soon distracts you from that. Well.... it distracted me but then again, I have the attention of a goldfish. Of a goldfish. Of a goldfish.....

nothing at all n3m Joss is a funny man whenever he talks about it, the first paragraph always starts off by saying thats he has heard nothing and he cant see it ever happening, but by the end he has made you laugh out loud and planted the seeds of hope once again.

Oddly enough I bought serenity at the same time and quite enjoyed that so it's looking promising, but I don't like buffy or angel.

Given that's it's batting down with snow atm, I can see me watching some while I play EVE this weekend

No you cant you must give it all your attention. the First Episode Serenity is a tad slow as it is the Pilot but it gets moving quick enough after that.

There isn't a bad episode in the lot, and I love Jayne's Town. Get it watched then watch what was by far the best film to come out at the flix last year. 1000x better than the last Star Wars and I lliked that !

Yeah Jayne's Town was brilliant, Objects in Space was impressive aswell.

Objects in Space summed the whole series up for me, as the episode come to an end I was thinking jesus what do I do after this finishes. Jubal Early was such a great character and Joss has said that he survived The show was just getting to be great

I thought the series was amazing, but I didnt rate the film. Jaynes Town was one of the best episodes, alongside the one where they steal the first laser pistol. I thought the last episode was good, but it was kinda spoiled by my knowledge of it being the last episode and expecting more closure - there was too much action right up until the last few scenes if you get me. I didnt realise the series ended so abruptly

I used to watch Buffy if it was on but never Angel. There really is no similarity between them and FF imo.

Film was OK, not the best movie ever, but quite watchable.

Wife's buggering off shopping now so I think I may crash out with Firefly and see what all the fuss is about.

well as you lot keep bangin on about it i decided to buy the film and the series..

Only got round to watching the 1st episode so far but as far as a pilot goes its one of the better ones ive seen from a new series in a long time.

lookin forward to watchin the rest now \o/

The pilot is amazing imho, but it was the 2nd episode that was aired as a pilot which i reckon wasnt the best episode there, and had no chance of getting enough of an audience interested. Stupid Fox twats!
