Can anyone recommend a camcorder review site?

I'm trying to find a review of a sony camcorder DCR-HC39E with no luck. I want to get one before the baby comes so I can send tapes to my mum as she lives on the dark side of the pennines and cannot find her passport to come and visit.

Nothing specific in the short time I looked matey. Having been where you are, the only decent piece of advice I can give is don't try to buy a digicam to do both stills and movies. We bought a Sony DCR-PC105E about 2.5 years ago. It's got a 1.3 megapixel CCD and takes good photos in optimum lighting conditions and crap stills any other time. Movie quality is excellent though. The only reason I mention our camera is because it's got a 1.3 megapixel CCD and I notice that the DCR-HC39E only appears to have 1 megapixel. I don't even know if the amount of megapixels affects movies (it may just be stills) but thought it worth mentioning. Good luck.

Arrival of the sprog finally got me into action so I've ordered a SONY one from Amazon.
This Model, I'll let you know how I get on incase anyone else is looking for one anytime soon.
