Now I realise I may just be acting like a complete llama but is there any real need as a resto for my heal gear to be 100% leather, I mean theres some really nice +heal cloth pieces I can get hold of which would bump up my heal power considerably until I could get some decent leather and im sure the extra armor isnt gonna help as much as I shouldnt even be getting hit really, tbh if I do I survive quite well anyway with insta cast HoTs, swiftmend and barkskin. I dont wanna replace all my leather just a few key pieces for maximum effect.

If not can anyone point me to some nice questable or rep reward leather for a heal suit?

Thanks

They wear cloth too, might be worth becoming a tailor for the mooncloth set. You see pallies wondering around in cloth, leather, mail and plate. Only problem with cloth is that it is geared for priest where aqs leather heal stuff will probably have a token amount of agi or strength incase you ever need to switch to bear mid fight if the shit hits the fan.

Leather healing stuff does tend to look very shit though and often has bits of dead animals stuck on it.

When I was running resto at lvl 60 I used a couple of bits of cloth. If you can get em off the priests it's worth it. If your 100% healer (ie doing no feral bits) and have a half decent tank you'll be fine. Even then the armor difference is negligable.

Well I carry a feral suit and use Outfitter mod so i can change gear with 1 button press, the delay is short enough for it not to matter except in real extreme circumstances and in those cases its usually beyond hope anyway.

I'm gonna get as much leather as I can but keep an eye out for good +spirit, +heal gear in cloth too as before 70 I saw an awful lot of quest rewards that had good cloth stuff for me but i chose the +AP leather :x

Can't change outfit during a fight. That's the only problem. Stick with you're feral and healing sets and allow cloth in the healing. Don't worry about it :D

+AP leather was pretty nice though. Karyl's stick got a lot of it :D

Same here! The amount of healing mail that has dropped so far just couldnt be ignored!!

I used the same principle - as a healer we shouldnt get hit that much.

HAHAHA

Yes. Yes u to fight too look like a cross dressing Scottish chap, I’ll take the dps gear and be useful..

Anyway...
Best pally healers I’ve raided with have been semi cloth tbh, so I see no point not to mix up armour types for a raid healer

That's me out then. I must be shit as I only wear Plate :). Mind you I've never been a loot whore and I wil only roll on Healing Plate tbh

Only the Gay takers wear Cloth. The Gay givers wear plate tbh!

I think you'll find Gatt is the only cross dressing pally we have (had?)

I wear the mail that seems to drop all the time in Kara

Get it right innit!

TBH i like wearing mail. Not as nice as wearing a male, but it sounds the same :)

The last time I saw people cross-dress more than like one piece of gear, especially tin cans wearing cloth, was back in MC - as there simply wasn't enough decent +heal gear outside T1/T2. That being said, for raid healing, x-dressing should work out fairly well and I can def. see a loltree dressing up in cloth to get more spi etc - but there is actually quite a bit of decent druid +heal gear. :)
