I took these from a link posted pre TBC by someone in that guild we allied with for a few BWL runs.

Im not taking credit for the macros, nor am i trying to tell you how to play your class, im just sharing the fact that I use them, and that they have made healing in raids and groups 100% easier.

I use the 4 keys that are bound to 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the toolbar

For key 1 I have the macro:

/cast [target=mouseover] Flash of Light(Rank 7)

Key 2

/cast [target=mouseover] Holy Light(Rank 9)

Key 3

/cast [target=mouseover] Holy Light(Rank 11)

Key 4

/cast [target=mouseover] Cleanse


With these set up, all i need to do it hover the mouse over the unit frame of the player, and press 1, 2, 3 or 4.

There is no time wasted moving the mouse from toolbar to unit frame, and I find healing far more laid back this way. Using the numbers means my fingers are never far from the WASD keys to move around and follow my heal target if they are moving a lot.

Obviously you can change spell name for your class.

One restriction is that the mouseove does not seem to work on the actual player as seen in the middle of the screen - just on the unit frames.

Mouseover macro's work for me. Thought I would hate it, but gave it a go and it is an excellent way to heal imo.

One other word of warning - when you learn an upgrade to a spell, you need to change the text in the macro. Just realised I have been using a downlevel Flash of light spell since level 66. What a cock.
