You're not alone, the tech support forum is absoloutely full of people with this issue and it looks as though once again the fault lies with the french ISP. Blizzard as always are in chocolate teapot mode but hopefully something will be resolved soon as it's been like this for a few weeks now for many, including myself.

I have been getting disconnects for the last few days aswell, although I am with BT

Prior to this i had never had any lag or DC issues ever, and its strange that its started suddenly, and is happeneing nightly.

When i DC its due to my entire internet connection going down. Browsers, messenger etc all DC. I have to power down, reset my router, and load back up. Realy frustrating if you are in an instance or summink.

Have you got a spare router or plugged directly into the modem to eliminate that as the possible cause?

I'd much rather have your problem than the current VM/NTL one, atleast there's a chance there's something you could do to fix it. We just have to sit and wait for for the famous customer support of NTL or Blizzard to pull their fingers out. Between a rock and a hard place tbh.

I could try with a friends router, or connect with the modem that BT provided. Didnt think of that! Its one of those problems that you dont think about till it happens, and when it does the only thing on your mind is getting back on!

A friend has suggested leaving the router unplugged for a few hours so that when i switch it back on it will have to assign a new IP address rather than re-assigning the same one.

Might give that a try too.

The worse DC was on Monday night while fighting the last boss in BM! That sucked big ones.

Think I DCd 4 times in BM last night, each time logging back in to having mobs everywhere and 2 portals open as Grindok was DC-ing the same time as me as we were the crowd control

same thing happened with me and vaul in botanica last night, dc'ing or locking up at the same time, was a fucking pain in the arse...same shit different day with blilzz though innit

been gettin the same shit here maui... everyone goes down one after another. last night was the worst, signed onto msn fine then went to log wow and it was havin none of it. powered down, reset the router and lost connection for 2 hours... gave up after that lol, ended up watchin a dvd and TRIED to fall asleep before midnight.. didnt happen mind

Like many rarely DC'd but since TBC its not uncommon sepecially going to instances can DC at the door often.

The only place I haven't DC'd is Ironforge for some reason. Maybe it's a seperate server or summit.

Are the wow forums down? I was wanting to check to see if they've updated the situation, didn't get disconnected at all last night and don't remember any major lag either.

The tech support people haven't updated the posts on the support forum so my guess is they still have no idea what's causing the lag. Not had any for 2 days though.

I still seem to get my nightly disconnect.
Discovered last nighht though that i can reset my router (turn it of and on again) without powering down the PC, which is a bonus.

Shouldnt have to do this kinda shit at all though.

TBH im wondering if the issue is with WoW or with my connection. Its not just wow that bombs out its everything - browser, messenger, TS.
