I need to get into the Shattered Halls to get some quests done and to get my HH rep moving.

Been LFG all weekend and all day Monday, but seem shard to get a decent group together, so I guess the next step is to try to get something organised within guild.

I need a tank, a mage, a healer and another DPS to join me on Saturday afternoon for Shattered Halls run.

Need to start before 2.30pm UK time as I'll have to log around 5pm.

Anyone up for it?

I am happy to come along if I am around and the group would fit a pala, as I still need 2 x Centurion from one of the quests, plus of course the rep. From past experience though, I would not be overly confident going as the only healer.

Last time I went there was me, and a very efficient Priest who we were lucky to pick up (at that time of night), and my healing was still called on from time to time.

I think with some of these places it is a bit of a debate as to whether 2 healers are needed or not. We found in Shad Lab last night that because we had 2 healers we were lacking DPS for some of the encounters.

Quite an interesting debate for me in particular. If the trend goes towards having only 1 healer in a group, then I could find myself weakening groups rather than making them stronger.

Anyway, while im on I would like to thank again the guys who helped us with Shadow Lab last night, and stuck at it through multiple wipes. It was really much appreciated. Im not sure I would have been able to stick it out without the lure of the key fragment at the end!!

Anyway, didnt mean to hijack your post Swifty - GL with Shatt Halls on Sat :)

Shattered Halls can be done easily with one healer ..

Also that healer can be a pally. Ive had Biggingerrob and Brotos MH in there as pallys and both runs were a success with no wipes ..

I used to be like that on the priest, hated the idea of being the only healer on 5 man runs anywhere, once you get used to it though it's fine, especially as you don't have the issue of other people healing your target as you're casting a big heal on them rather than loads of small ones.

due to the AOE shizzle most bosses do i find it difficult to be the only healer now and then. some ppl seem not to use a single bandage during thoose encounters.

Me fav setup (and think 90% of the runs i made in TBC) is like : tank(war/druid), mage, rogue, pala & me. you good dps, crowd control, offtank, backup heal

healing in general is quite fun atm in the new instances since they are good challenge. guess that'll be true for Kara too. gonna see how the thrill will be in the "big" raids

This debate is all very interesting, but I note that there is a distinct lack of volunteers - apart from Maui of course.

Noone fancies a run on Saturday??
