Its getting there!....

Initially I had that message you quoted.
A few mins later it stuck on the char select screen.
Now it gets to the char select screen, but hangs when I try to log onto a character.

Onwards and upwards!

You really have nothing better to do than try and log in? You should never plan on playing on patch day, it's a day to catch up on sleep, TV, movies etc or even work.

You could be making Gwen a surprise dinner or something... dunno what you'd do whilst Maui is doing that though Des.

I have had a morning of conference calls (the listen to, rather than speak on type) so I have been able to mess around with the patch whilst tied to the desk!

Multitasking i think its called.

lol my download is taking forever. My bros downloaded happend in a few mins....

Takes the piss as I have the better Pc and its the same connection.

Mine started on 376mb as it must have got a lot from the background downloader.

Remainder downloaded in about 5 mins. Lucky I guess

Just use a patch mirror, that downloader is a joke. My theory is if it takes a few minutes then your PC isn't secure enough and you'll let any old shit on to it
