Found this awesome site that provides stats on all resources and which planet they are typically found on.

The best Metal seems to be Polysteel Copper (i'm mining some on dantooine).

It doesn't have Chimaera listed there mate. Since the resources change their stats with each shift, polysteel could be the best one day and not the next.

Good find though, hopefully people will update it for Chimaera soon.

I'm not sure how the resources shift so a lot of what i'm about to say is just my opinion of what i've noticed.

Certain quality resources, regardless of shifts, seem to be specific to certain planets. And from what i've seen this is also server independant.

For example the best fiberplast seems to be on tatooine and comes in a number of different names.

I used the list to find the best generic metal for armoursmithing, which turned out to be polysteel copper. According to the website link, polysteel copper can be found on dantooine and not on corellia. I'm at dantooine now and harvesting lots of polysteel copper at the same sort od ratings as the website stated.

So either i'm being very lucky or there is a trend of the quality resources being available on certain planets.

The best polysteel copper ive ever seen is on Corellia at the minute. Begins with an O. 940 conductivity and about 850 OQ - perfect for weapons.

Standard steels, coppers and aluminiums are regularly on the same planets. The advanced planets, Talus, Yavin etc generally have the rarer materials for short amounts of time (from what ive seen).

Last night for example, Dantooine had virtually the same minerals as Corellia. I wouldnt be surprised if the same ones were on Naboo and Tatooine, although the stuff on Tatooine is generally different, and there always seems to be more chemicals on Tat, and more minerals on Corellia. It's been a long time since i remember at least 6 types of copper, 5 types of steel, 2 iron and however much alu is on Corellia at the minute, on Tatooine.

But yeah, SWGCraft is much better than the other one, but sadly it's down as Delta said.

I want to do an in guild resource list soon, say 1 person does minerals of a certain planet, 1 does chemicals etc. Post them on here, dont need the stats etc, just what's where, cos i'll hapilly dig up any link steel alu, rhodium steel etc whatever the stats are, as they're named resources i need.

that sounds like a damn good idea with the guild resource.

We all have x amount of slots so instead of doing our own thing we really should work together on this. Ill mine whatevers needed tbh as long as i get some steel, polymer, fibreplast and inert chems at the end of it.

Also ALL non crafters should be mining for the greater good of the guild

I prefer to use my lots for factories and other buildings I might buy at a later date, especially as I have 2 factories and will be using Hug-E's too whilst he's away (For the love of god man remember to give me admin for it else it'll be on fire by the time you get back) so I may have to buy a large house or extra ones to cope with the space requirements (And also to show off my wealth )
