How much can you afford on guild tax
The 2k a week I pay atm is killing me 14%  14%  [ 1 ]
I can contribute another 1k a week 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
I can contribute another 2k a week 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
I can contribute another 5k a week 71%  71%  [ 5 ]
I can contribute another 10k a week 14%  14%  [ 1 ]
I am not fussed - I have tons of money and couldnt care less what you decide 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
Can we explore the options of property tax and vendor tax? 0%  0%  [ 0 ]

I'm changing professions and atm am about 200k down from my initial chef investment so not sure how much a new profession will cost me, biggest thing is if we do get new buildings will they require more lots? I know I can place a cantina but I'm not about to use 6 or 8 lots for something that would never get used. Shouldn;t we decide what we need before we start getting the money for it as there's no point having a whacking great big guild fund and nothing to spend it on.

the city is gonna grow, you guys will want more stuff added in time.. This stuff will cost money not only to provide but also a lot in weekley rent. I was gonna leave it for another week and up taxes to at least 3k anyway.

Well according to this poll everyone is ok with paying an extra 5k

this will make the new tax level 7k

I will send a mass mail to all citizens with the proposed changes and gauge the response. I hope to get taxes raised ready for the next city update when i will have 2 weeks of politician xp to train with..

Whoa tiger. Easy on there. I doubt John-G and his cohorts are gonna be best pelased about paying an extra 5k a week for fuck all in return.

Maybe best to leave this til we actually have stuff that warrants crazy tax like that.

We certainly need more votes than just this. The prospect of paying 7k a week is definately going to put off new citizens considering most of them join cities for a free house which is only worth about 5k.

7k a week is fine for me, but we don't have anything that warrants that much money. It should be implemented when we get more services, like cloning centres etc.

tbh i'm the biggest n00b in the guild atm - i'm losing money atm as opposed to making it - if we get any new members who didn't get the cash that i got from m8s then it would be awkward to keep up the tax payments.

Just my 2cents again as a n00b - hope it's useful
